Our story
Our story began long before Love @ Dante had a name.
In 2013, one of us worked as a class assistant at a handcraft school in Shanghai, learning alongside artists from China, Japan and India — bamboo weavers, woodcut printers, embroiderers, natural dyers. What stayed with us was not just the beauty of these skills, but the quiet struggle behind them. Many makers felt their traditions were becoming isolated — narrow in product range, disconnected from modern market, and left behind by fast-moving trends.
Later, both of us moved into the internet and e-commerce industry, working with data, platforms and customer behaviour. Over time, we realised something important: we could be the bridge that help craftsmanship meet contemporary aesthetics, and help artists find relevance without losing integrity.
For us, gifting has always been deeply personal. A well-chosen gift carries memories, relationships and emotion — a wonder shared between people.
Love @ Dante was created from this belief. Today, we work with independent makers and family-run workshops, supporting them with design direction, localisation, material sourcing and quality standards. Our collections — from bamboo crafts and festival decorations to freshwater pearl jewellery — are inspired by nature, made with care, and designed to be lived with.
Love @ Dante exists to honour craft, celebrate connection, and bring warmth and meaning into everyday moments.

Something about Dante...
Dante — our cat mascot — appears quietly in our visuals as a symbol of warmth and personality. It’s a small detail, but a meaningful one: 10% of Love @ Dante’s profits are donated to animal rescue charities, reflecting our belief that kindness should extend beyond products.

Love @ Dante grew from my early years working alongside craft artists and from later experience in digital retail. I saw both the beauty of traditional skills and the gap between makers and the modern market.
Together with my co-founder Leta, we created Love @ Dante to build something different — a brand rooted in long-term partnerships, thoughtful design, and mutual respect. We work closely with independent makers, many of them women, helping their work find new forms and new audiences without losing its soul.
This brand is our way of bringing nature, craft, and quiet joy into everyday life — and of building a kinder, more connected creative economy.

At Love @ Dante, we believe a gift is never just an object. It is a moment shared, a feeling held, a memory carried forward.
Each piece is designed as a quiet expression of love, created to mark relationships, transitions, and the emotions that connect us. Our designs draw inspiration from different cultures, times, and places, brought together through form, material, and details. These references do not belong to one history alone; they speak to something universal.
By recalling fragments of memory and story, we create gifts that feel both familiar and new. Love @ Dante is an invitation to remember, to give with intention, and to celebrate love as it exists here and now.

Our promise
Sustainability is built into how we work, not added as an afterthought.
We use recycled and FSC-certified paper packaging, avoid plastic wherever possible, and prioritise natural materials including bamboo, pearls, wool, cotton and wood. Many of our decorative elements are created using surplus materials from the fashion industry, reducing waste while adding character.
Production is low-waste, partnership-driven and designed to scale responsibly through long-term relationships rather than short-term extraction.
